DIY Pill Pockets for pups

As my paco man ages he takes more and more pills. Also as he ages he gets more particular about how he will take his pills. I had a backup bag of pill pockets and had to use it more and more. I then had to buy a backup bag and that next one wasnt as fresh and harder to work with. We were getting to the point where i needed 4 a day – he takes some beefy pills.

Iordered one more bag of milk bone style and as i was waiting i thought…. i make all kinds of things for myself and the pups, why not pill pockets. I looked it up and found this recipe. The regular recipe suggested it could make 8 pill pockets. Maybe for pups that only take 1 small pill. I quadrupled the recipe, and don’t premake the pill pockets, just take out what we need at the time.

The recipe indicates only lasting 3-4 days. We have left it in the fridge for a couple weeks and had no problem!

Who would have thought, just peanut butter and oat flour.
