Buttering a pan

In honor of waste not want, I wanted to share a little trick I use! When i use a stick of butter for something, I save the wrapper. Yup! If i use 2 sticks, i’ll put the 2 wrappers butter side together or just fold 1 paper on itself.

When a recipe calls for buttering a pan, i just pull out a wrapper, do my buttering and done. No need to dirty something else to get “new butter” out for doing the pan buttering!

It’s also at room temp, i store them in a quart size bag under my kitchen aid bowl.

Verdict – I love the simplicity, use of something that was basically garbage, and it’s easy!
