I was cleaning up my drive and came across an old recipe doc. I tried to figure out who originally turned me on to it, and realize the normal flavor is cranberry, and this recipe is pomegranate juice.
The original recipe was rum, pomogranite jice and sprite, with a sprinkle of arils…
That was nice and it allowed us to finish off our fancy rum we found in costa rica.
I know i could make it even better… so grabbed some prosecco as costco! Only the best for my lovely man and me!

I updated the recipe – 1 shot of pomegranate juice, 1 shot of malibu rum, prossecco to taste and a dash of arils!
Ingredients
- 1 shot of pomegranate juice
- 1 shot of malibu rum
- 1/2 – 1 cup of prosecco
- pomegranate arils
Instructions
- fill a glass with ice
- mix all the ingredients in a glass
- stir and drink
- make another for your friend
Verdict:
Do it!
We ran out of malibu and tried a couple options… you will have to find the best for you.
We would not suggest whipped cream vodka or regular vodka with the recipe as is.
If you have to go that route, either skip the prosecco or limit the pour and add sprite.
