I love this recipe! It’s easy, the outcome is grand and it’s all done in an hour with just 1 stir and dump! Hubby will eat spinach salads if they have candied walnuts. This is a life saver if there is just a little time before dinner and you to get some veggies into your dining companions.
I love that it seems like something like this just can’t work, but then it does!

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Plop everything in the crockpot and cook on high for 1 hour.
- After an hour, mix nuts with a wooden spoon all around.
- Spread out on parchment paper. Let cool for at least 15 minutes.
