I saw this on dizzy busy and hungry’s page and knew it was something i needed to try. I had to make just a half batch as I made it while hubby was away as I wasn’t sure it was something i could get him into. He’s not a fan of salmon…
Definitely a lot of ingredient’s i didn’t have and I have a lot of weird stuff in my house!
Examples of what i didn’t have – unagi sauce, yum yum sauce
I also decided to go with canned salmon. I know don’t hate me.
Result was fun and i will honestly tell you I ate the half batch with glee. It would not be a repeat, i’d honestly rather have a hand roll or just get sushi. The nori was melt in your mouth, what a treat!

I mentioned above, this is fun, and a treat when hubby was away, but not something i’ll make again.
If you do try it and have a crowd, double it! it definitely requires a fork and knife, or make hand rolls…
