Super simple, 3 ingredients, joy in the belly!
Found this ages ago and thought… Can’t be good with so few ingredients, right? Finally tried it and was like, dayam… yummm. Then it got lost in the recipe app… Brought it back to the light this week when i had too few minutes to prep, and needed a quick cook option!
Sesame-Chile Chicken
Serving Size
1/2 breast
Prep Time
5 minutes
Cook Time
12 minutes
Total Time
17 minutes
Notes
- Super easy and tasty option for the grill!
Can also pour the marinade over the chicken early in the cooking process, should burn off the badness when you flip the chicken!
Pro tip: hubby hates having a “fat” side of the chicken breast, so i pound all mine prior to putting them in the freezer. Also makes defrosting quicker!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 to 2 tablespoons chili sauce with garlic
- 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
- 1 (6-ounce) boneless chicken breast halves
Instructions
- Combine first 3 Ingredients: in a large zip-top plastic bag or marinator. Add chicken to bag; seal and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour, turning bag occasionally. (or 4 hours, whatever suits you!)
- Prepare grill.
- Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place chicken on a grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill 6 minutes on each side or until done. Remove chicken from grill; let stand 5 minutes.
Verdict:
Great option for chicken. Nice kick, quick cook!
If you try it, let me know what you think!
