Hubby got me “Big Dip Energy” cookbook by Alyse Whitney for Christmas. As you probably know, i love to cook and i love to experiment. A neighbor recently after receiving an “experiment” apple cake, asked – do you ever cook anything twice? I laughed and laughed!
We finally decided to have a gathering, it’s been a long number of years. As is normal, i went overboard with food, but mainly it revolved around which recipes from this book should we try.
#1, and #1 in the book – Corn Cheesy Like Sunday Morning Dip

It has some great ingredients, was easy to make and it would go in my favorite party trick – the tripple dipper!
I was intrigued as one of the ingredients was gochujang, and i love this flavor with meat, so seeing it with a dip, it was a no brainer!
Verdict:
Fan favorite at the gathering.
Me, i realize i don’t like kewpie mayo. i would have really liked this with homemade, avocado or regular mayo better.

Pro tip – holding it in the tripple dipper even on warm might have cooked it a little too much, but still delish. Didn’t hear any complaints from the crowd!
