Found this ages ago and thought… Can’t be good with so few ingredients, right? Finally tried it and was like, dayam… yummm. Then it got lost in the recipe app… Brought it back to the light this week when i had too few minutes to prep, and needed a quick cook option!
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 to 2 tablespoons chili sauce with garlic
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
1 (6-ounce) boneless chicken breast halves
Combine first 3 Ingredients: in a large zip-top plastic bag or marinator. Add chicken to bag; seal and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour, turning bag occasionally. (or 4 hours, whatever suits you!)
Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place chicken on a grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill 6 minutes on each side or until done. Remove chicken from grill; let stand 5 minutes.
Super easy and tasty option for the grill!
This is enough marinade for 2 breasts, i try to make the least amount of left overs and we like sauce!
Can also pour the marinade over the chicken early in the cooking process, should burn off the badness when you flip the chicken!
Pro tip: hubby hates having a “fat” side of the chicken breast, so i pound all mine prior to putting them in the freezer. Also makes defrosting quicker!
